It’s worth noting, this is 99.9% the same as the regular The Firemen japanese game with a different header, where instead of the plain English game title there is now a Kanji version. So unless you really, really hate English letters in your internal titles, this is more of the same. Since it is really that close in size, I put it in with The Firemen (USA) (Beta) ROM that I posted months ago.

Well this is something I have been after for a while, the first of 2 current Kirby downloads… Kirby Pinball! It’s lots of fun, but I think Gator Ball for the Game Boy was more fun. If you have this cart have no worries about playing it, as this game and seemingly other Kirby games in the same set have unlimited start ups.

Update 2008-11-26 @ 6:50PM:

Thanks to Jonny for pointing this out, the Sample ROM has a later build date that would be displayed under the word SAMPLE on the title screen after a little bit of debugging is enabled. So the Sample build date is June 22nd at 14:30; the Final build date is July 3rd at 22:00. Check it out for yourself at 0xDF19.

Aretha II - Ariel no Fushigi na Tabi (Japan) (Early Beta)

An interesting RPG for the Super Famicom, Aretha II - Ariel no Fushigi na Tabi (Japan) (Early Beta). This is an earlier beta than what was already released out there.

Compared to the later beta and final, it is pretty much ported straight from the first game, as it still has the original title screen. Other things are left unchanged or unfinished, such as the enemy names and the backgrounds to the fight scenes. The font was also slightly tweaked by a few pixels here and there. Other things are slightly different but you’ll have to find them.
