A New Way To Post

April 11, 2007, 12:00AM · Matthew Callis

We can now post to the blog by using XMl-RPC! Hooray!
So what exactly is it? Well rather than explain it in my own words, why don't I just quote someone else who might be better at explaining it than me... oh lets say someone like Wikipedia:
XML-RPC is a specification and a set of implementations that allow software running on disparate operating systems, running in different environments to make procedure calls over the Internet. It's remote procedure calling using HTTP as the transport and XML as the encoding. XML-RPC is designed to be as simple as possible, while allowing complex data structures to be transmitted, processed and returned.
Thanks Wikipedia!
In plain ol' English Banjo that means you can post without opening a web browser through any program that support XML-RPC, such as LeafBlower that part of the JunkTree CMS system.
